At Huddle, we're building the next generation of scalable, reliable sports betting infrastructure – and we want you to be part of itHuddle provides automated pricing and trading services with leading uptime and accuracy, helping our sportsbook partners increase turnover and improve margins.We develop solutions that assist them in growing their businesses, reducing costs, and effectively operating in multiple jurisdictions – all while delivering a better experience to customers.Our platform covers core and derivative markets, player props, and micro-markets, both pre-match and in-play.We cover the biggest US sports – American football, basketball, baseball, and ice hockey – alongside global favorites like soccer and tennis.As a Junior Quantitative Analyst, you will work closely with our Lead Quantitative Analyst on researching, developing, and implementing innovative algorithms that compile odds for various sports.You will use your quantitative analysis skills to provide accurate and up-to-date odds to our customers.You will also delve into the realm of customer analytics.By exploring predictive models, you will uncover valuable insights that will guide our strategic decision-making process.Your ability to translate complex data into meaningful and actionable recommendations will make a significant impact on our organization's success.As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on ad-hoc analyses, generating insightful reports for both our department and the wider organization.Your findings will contribute to a data-driven culture, fostering collaboration and innovation across all teams.We understand the importance of continuous growth and development, which is why we encourage you to expand your knowledge of both sports and software engineering practices.This role offers a unique blend of sports passion and technical expertise, allowing you to strengthen your skills in quantitative analysis while immersing yourself in the exciting world of sports.What you'll do:Collaborate with the Lead Quantitative Analyst to research, develop, and productionize new algorithms for odds compilation across various sports.Conduct research on predictive models for customer analytics, extracting valuable insights to drive strategic decision-making.Generate ad-hoc analyses and reports that provide actionable recommendations for the department and the organization as a whole.Embrace opportunities to enhance your understanding of sports and software engineering practices, continually expanding your skill set.What we're looking for:A degree in a quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or equivalent (Masters level is a strong plus).Strong knowledge of probability theory, stochastic processes, numerical methods, and statistics.Exposure to at least one OO programming language (Java, C#, C++, Scala, Python).Analytically minded, able to understand and overcome technically complex challenges.Interested in sports and competitive games.Proficiency in written and spoken English.Bonus points if you have:Proficiency in Java and Python.Exposure to SQL querying.Working on cutting-edge technology.Flexible work-from-home options.Annual educational budget of €1,000.Opportunities for occasional business travel.Benefits:Individual education budget and annual book budget to support learning and development.Gym and wellness memberships.Referral bonus of *****,500 EUR net depending on seniority.Flexible work-from-home options.#J-*****-Ljbffr
