BID ENGINEER COORDINATOR EMEA & INDIA Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society.Together, we're pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources.Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth.So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.IntroductionALFA LAVAL is a Swedish multinational company operating in Italy for over 140 years with several sales offices, manufacturing and research and development.At Alfa Laval, we always go that extra mile to overcome the toughest challenges.Our driving force is to accelerate success for our customers, people and planet.You can only achieve that by having dedicated people with a curious mind.Curiosity is the spark behind great ideas.And great ideas drive progress.As a member of our team, you thrive in a truly diverse workplace based on empowerment.You are here to make a difference.Constantly building bridges to the future with sustainable solutions that have an impact on our planet's most urgent problems.Making the world a better place.Every day.Our driving force is to accelerate success for our customers, people and planet.We're looking for a passionate Bid Engineer Coordinator EMEA & India for our Air Team, based in our Suisio Italy site.Who you areResponsible for the development and coordination of bid engineer activities of the Air Coolers Bid Engineer team for EMEA & India market, with a special focus on balancing different customer expectations in terms of offer accuracy against response times.Tasks- Organize and manage bid activities in EMEA & India organization in order to meet customer needs and expectations.- Manage the tasks assigned to bid engineering in coordination with Sales Manager EMEA & India.- Participate to build One Bid strategy across Air Sales organization.- Implement One Bid strategy in EMEA & India organization (process, tools, competences).- Attend coordination and follow-up meeting with Air Team and within EMEA & India Air team.- Upon call, to attend Customer presentation meetings to share company products knowledge and technical clarification meetings (remotely or IRL).- To cooperate to any internal project where bid engineering knowledge can support to achieve Air Cooler h.e. sales.Requirements- Bachelor degree or Master of Science in Mechanical/Chemical/Energy Engineering with 5+ years experiences in Bid Engineering activities within manufacturing or engineering companies (preferably with past track records in complex thermal design).- Solid experience in analyzing technical specifications within customer requests.- Solid experience in understanding the various mechanical regulations of pressure vessels including API 661 requirements.- Experience and knowledge in air cooler components details is a plus.- High ability to read Process Data Sheet and P&ID.- Technical Drawing knowledge (CAD).- Italian / English languages.- Team working with continuous high energy level, being part of the Sales Bid Engineering team and Global Air Team.- Analytical mindset and problem solver.- Flexibility in developing solution in function of different customer demands and expectations.#J-*****-Ljbffr
