Senior Business Analyst

Role description:The role is placed within the Business Analysis function and reports to the Business Analisys Manager.This is a highly analytical role that requires combining a large amount of data from multiple sources in order to help the main commercial functions of OBI Italy to develop, execute and monitor strategies and action plans that can contribute to profitable and sustainable growth for the company.The ideal candidate has a data-driven approach and is comfortable in both data management and relationships with other corporate functions, and is able to influence the company's strategic commercial and financial decisions.She/He is therefore a real internal consultant for all the commercial functions of OBI Italy, from purchasing to sales, from marketing to logistics, and will be involved in many corporate projects always with the aim of offering the final customer the best customer experience possible.Our Company:OBI is an international brand belonging to a German multinational company leader in Europe in the sector of Large-scale Specialized Distribution (DIY, Gardening, Home, Construction) with large sales surfaces in 10 European countries.OBI has been present in Italy since the early nineties, today it has 56 large retail stores and is rapidly developing thanks to an ambitious expansion project at national and international level ).Working in OBI means joining a company that offers a structured training course on entry and which includes important development projects and multiple career paths.Your tasks:Creation and maintenance of online dashboards using data visualization toolData extraction from the database and reporting process;Creation of ad hoc analysis to support the daily businessCreation of ad hoc tools and instruments to support short and medium term decision-making activitiesDevelopment and maintenance of evaluation models of the sales network and assortmentsTechnical and consulting support for the pricing process in collaboration with the purchasing departmentCreation of Power Point presentationsParticipation in multiple projects and task forces on commercial topicsPlanning and monitoring of the projects assignedParticipation in periodic business review meetings with the main commercial functionsTechnical skills:Master's degree in Management Engineering or in Economic / Financial / Statistics disciplinesWork experience as Business Analyst of at least 5 years, in multinational structured companiesExperience in the retail / specialized large-scale distribution market (nice to have)Strong knowledge of the Office package (in particular Excel, Access and Power Point)Knowledge of data visualization softwares (eg.
