Avio Aero Enterprise Lean Leader

OverviewAs Enterprise LEAN Leader you will be accountable for leading the LEAN transformation of AvioAero, under the guidelines of GE Aerospace and within the broader scope of Propulsion Aerospace Technologies.You will directly lead a team of professionals and define guidelines and operating procedures to orchestrate LEAN deployment with all AvioAero functions and their LEAN leaders.You will map the current transformation, define the "to be" state, and develop development plans and talent management across AvioAero, coaching and nurturing a community of learners and practitioners.This person will be an outstanding coach for peers and for AvioAero Senior Leadership.A sound ability to connect theory, application and tangible business outcomes is essential.The Enterprise LEAN Leader understands, deploys and structures action planning, KPI dashboards, problem solving when execution drifts from plan, and sets up standard work to transform the way of work.He/she drives long-term transformational activities, such as establishing cross-functional value streams and/or Hoshin Kanri (policy deployment).You will challenge functions and leaders, and lead by example, spending most of your time at Genba.Essential ResponsibilitiesAs the Enterprise LEAN Leader you will drive and lead the LEAN transformation in the Company.You will develop the roadmap to drive the cultural transformation and define and orchestrate the framework for every functional team (such as Sales and Marketing, Global Supply Chain, Engineering, etc).This role is a guide and a mentor for peers, younger talents and up to the Company Leadership Team.You will identify gaps and opportunities for learning, drive learning step changes including benchmarking with other companies.Proficient in LEAN methodology, you know how to translate the theory for both manufacturing and transactional environments.You will stimulate continuous improvement by activating action planning, problem solving, Kaizen bursts, and help to define and possibly lead the optimization of entire cross-functional value streams.You will also coach and lead Hoshin Kanri (policy deployment) initiatives for the entire enterprise.Exemplar change agent, the Leader uses strong interpersonal skills to interpret people's needs and context and needs of change.He/she coordinates a team of Subject Matter Experts in lean methodology and tools (HK, Value Stream, Kaizen) and a team of LEAN Functional Leaders across the Organization.You will tie strategy, business priorities and operations in a seamless approach.This Role Requires a Master Ability InLEAN methodology and tools: action planning, bowler charts deployment and KPI roll out, Hoshin Kanri or similar policy deployment techniquesCoaching at different levels of the OrganizationData analysis and problem-solving across a wide rangeCoordinating Leaders across different sites and organizationsChallenging processes, whether functional or cross-functionalQualifications/RequirementsSignificant experience (15+ years) in a complex industrial environment, with strong knowledge of both manufacturing and transactional processes.Proven leader who has driven continuous improvement/lean results in an operation.Proven track record of success through the implementation and deployment of Lean methodology and tools.Experience in operations management and people development are a key requirement.Master's degree from an accredited university or college.Lean qualifications from Universities/MBA's and specific lean tools certifications are a plus.Leader that has been responsible for and run a lead operation and delivered results during their career.Experience in the Danaher Business System is a plus.Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skills.Fluency in Italian and English.Leader who has led or participated closely in Materials, SIOP, Demand/Supply planning in a lean organization.Strong cultural change-management approach and attitude to drive transformation through continuous improvement.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to drive the ability to influence and drive transformation with several different stakeholders in a complex matrix organization.Demonstrated ability to define, analyze and resolve problems.Attitude to coach others.Ability to deal with high pressure situations in a fast-paced environment, manage conflict, negotiate.Proven success in leading teams in complex projects across different Functions, and in leveraging lessons learned.Ability to document, plan, and execute development plans.What We OfferSmart working and work life-balance: Avio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.We value our employees' wellbeing;
