ABYLSEN is an international engineering consulting group with **** employees and a turnover of 290 M€ in ****.Created by a number of entreprenors in ****, the group was born from a common development ambition across the major European regions and is now located in 42 locations spread over 7 countries (France, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands and Spain).As a multi-specialist, we are active in 8 main business sectors (Automotive, Aeronautics, Rail, Heavy Industry, Energy, IT/Telecom, Lifesciences, Banking/Finance) and bring our expertise to all our clients on their innovation projects R&D and operational performance.Our consultants from engineering, IT & Lifesciences, who create ingenious solutions, bring and develop their skills and know-how daily on projects that are as diverse as they are enrichingMission:As part of the development of our entity Abylsen Italy, specialized in IT, Transport (automotive, aeronautics, defense, space and rail), Heavy Industry (metallurgy, steel plant) and Energy, we are looking for a PLC Technician - Manufacturing sector to integrate our team of consultants and bring your expertise on all our projects.The PLC Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting automated equipment controlled by PLC systems, ensuring reliable and efficient production operations.What is the challenge?- Diagnose and resolve PLC faults with the use of Siemens S5.- Monitor sensors, actuators, and I/O states using PLC software.- Restore machine operation and perform technical repairs (sensors, valves, motors, I/O modules).- Apply lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance work.- Make minor PLC/HMI program adjustments to improve reliability.- Review logs, alarms, and trends to prevent recurring failures.Technical skills:- Bachelor/Master Degree in Mechatronics/Automation Engineering.- Experience with PLC-controlled automation systems.- Ability to read electrical schematics and diagnose electromechanical issues.- Basic PLC programming knowledge.- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Other information:- Workplace: Cavallermaggiore, Piedmont, ItalyNo barrier should hold talent backCommitted to equal opportunities, our Group is part of an inclusive approach: every position is open to everyone, and we actively support the integration of people with disabilities.This announcement is addressed to both sexes, in accordance with Laws ****** and ******, and to people of all ages and nationalities, in accordance with Legislative Decrees ****** and ******
