BionIT Labs® is a cutting-edge MedTech company dedicated to transforming lives by integrating Information Technologies into Bionics.Our flagship innovation, the Adam's Hand®, is the world's first fully adaptive bionic hand.We specialize in the development of prosthetic systems that merge electronics, software, and design with a focus on usability and user-centric functionality.Job PurposeAs an Electronic R&D Engineer, you will lead the design, development, protyping and testing of electronic systems for advanced biomedical devices.You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working at the intersection of electronics, firmware, and biomechanics to create cutting-edge assistive technologies.Your main responsibilities will include:Design and development of mixed-signal (analog/digital) electronic circuits for embedded systemsSupervise prototyping, testing, debugging, and validation of electronic boards and subsystemsCollaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to ensure system-level integrationMentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout product lifecyclePerform electrical and functional laboratory measurementsDevelop microcontroller-based firmware for real-time systemsConduct technical reporting, testing documentation, and maintain R&D recordsMonitor industry trends and perform competitive analysisContribute to the protection of company Intellectual PropertyParticipate in the selection and qualification of suppliers and componentsEnsure compliance with internal procedures and standards for R&D warehouse usage? Skills and qualifications we are looking for:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronic or Communication Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or MechatronicsMinimum 5 years of experience in electronic desing in R&D departmentStrong expertise in PCB design with ECAD software (e.g., Altium, Eagle, KiCad)Familiarity with laboratory instruments and debug tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).Experience with PCB assembly and reworkGood knowledge of microcontroller firmware development (C/C++)Fluent in both English and Italian (spoken and written)Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Strong communication and teamwork skillsA lean thinking mindset and an innovation-driven approachFamiliarity with IP management and certification procedures is a plus#J-*****-Ljbffr
