Swegon Group AB, owned by Investment AB Latour and listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, is a market-leading supplier in the indoor environment sector, offering solutions for ventilation, heating, cooling, and climate optimization, as well as related services and qualified technical support.Swegon has subsidiaries and distributors worldwide, along with 24 production facilities located in Europe, North America, and India.The company employs over 3,800 people and recorded a turnover of SEK 9.3 billion in ****.In Italy, the Group's official headquarters is located in Cantarana di Cona (VE), where, in addition to the production plant dedicated to chillers and heat pumps, the Italian sales and distribution branch is also based.Approximately 400 people are employed at the site.Are you looking for an international company where you can challenge yourself and grow?Join our teamWe are looking for aSoftware Developer.This position, based in theTechnical Department, will support theSoftware Developer Coordinator, working closely with the Software Development team.ABOUT THE ROLEIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the development and maintenance of PLC control software, fostering product innovation and providing support for testing and production activities.In particular, you will support the team in the following activities:Development, testing, and maintenance of PLC software (IEC *******, Structured Text);Analysis of technical requirements in collaboration with the Technical Department, Testing & Prototypes, and Production;Technical support for testing and troubleshooting activities during the production phase;Support in drafting and updating technical documentation (manuals, operating procedures, etc.);Development and optimization of integrated HMI and Web Server integration.Availability to undertake short-term national and international travel is required.REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLSTechnical background (degree in Computer Engineering/Automation Engineering/equivalent or a diploma in Computer Science);Good knowledge of the English language;At least 4 years of prior experience in the role or solid experience in PLC programming (preferably IEC *******, Structured Text);Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP, BACnet) and ability to read and understand electrical schematics;Knowledge of C#, Python, or JavaScript for support tools and automation systems preferably;Proactive attitude and teamwork orientation, with a hands-on and constructive approach to finding structured and effective solutions, along with a strong focus on Quality.
