About the Company - Alpinestars is the leading global performance motorsports apparel, protection and footwear manufacturer.For over 55 years the company has been providing the world's best athletes and motorsports enthusiasts in the pursuit of performance excellence with the most technologically advanced products which fuse protection, innovation and style.The company, thanks to outstanding and constantly innovative products, is in a powerful growth phase in the global market, reflecting the strengthening of the staff in order to join our great successful team.About the Role - Now we are looking for a FOOTWEAR CAD PRODUCT ENGINEER to join our Racing Department, who will be responsible for the development management of the products to create innovative, high-quality, technical products.Responsibilities:2D/3D modeling for product engineering;Production information flow management, facilitating communication and exchange of information between the Footwear Dep.and internal and external stakeholders;Make LAB test requirement for each item necessary for footwear collections (outsole, plastic parts, mechanism), linked to Activity Plan properly set;Collect the QC docs forapproval process (QC drawing starting from available 3D files;PPT file for QC checking);Labelling for approval to distribute to site production/ int.dep.as per QC procedure;Regular communication with production site and nominated supplier for R&D development activities (material and flat sheet samples / injected parts / technical datasheet alignment);Discuss and implements corrective actions when required, to maintain adherence to product design and prevent/resolve material and/or process-related defects;Data record for all technical specification and standards.Qualifications:Mechanical engineer is preferable;5 years of experience in automotive or Footwear industries;3D CAD knowledge CATIA surface modelling is necessary;Good communicative skills;Fluency in English.Other information - Position is available in Asolo (TV)
