Position SummaryDevelop and maintain strong strategic relationships with Key Accounts within the EMEA supply chain, identifying and driving new business opportunities through close collaboration with brand partners. Conduct industry and market analysis to identify and prioritize brands with supply chain headquarters based in Europe. The initial focus will be on the Textile industry, followed by Automotive and Plastics, while remaining open to opportunities across any industry with a relevant supply chain footprint. Follow up opportunities created at Key Account level with local Sales team in charge of their Supply Chain. Present Datacolor solutions via seminars, webinars, or in person meetings to create interests and awareness. Develop & manage new market development projects to identify and qualify business opportunities. Present value propositions to customers including technical solutions.
Use SalesForce.com effectively as a management tool. Keeps records on sales activities, contacts, opportunities and new business generated. Prepare and present business cases to the management with valid proposal & justifications. Report Progress to managementRequirementsBachelor degree in a business related field8-10 years of relevant, strategic sales experience, key account managementNecessary background in technical field or engineering to be able to understand customer processes and issues.
Knowledge related to color management is a plusAnalytical skills to help prioritize actions and manage executionResult oriented with strong leadership that can develop the team through coaching & supportGood understanding of textile & apparel applications and processes, brands & supply chains management practicesAbility to develop strategic partnership with customersExcellent interpersonal skills including strong listening & analytical skillsStrong verbal & written communication; fluent English (German, or French, Or Italian would be a plus)Excellent in presentations & influencing skillsExperience in project management with final deliverables that are constrained to a finite timescale and budgetProficiency in computer applications including MS Office, SalesForce.com, etc. LocationThis role is based in Europe and is a hybrid role in line with current company policy.
