At Fidel API (Permanent), in Lisbon, PortugalSalary :€****** - €******Expires at :Remote policy : Full remoteAs a software engineer, you'll be responsible for writing, testing, and deploying software to production.You'll also run small PoCs to test concepts and improve software development processes.Security compliance is crucial for Enigmatic Smile and Fidel API, requiring adherence to PCI and ISO policies for all requests and actions.Enigmatic Smile is a fintech scale-up with Fidel API operating independently within the Engineering Team.Fidel API is a distributed team based in Lisbon, Portugal.Our global customers have diverse requirements, which we support through our platform.We aim to enable consumers, retailers, rewards publishers, and banks worldwide to enhance customer experience.Main responsibilitiesDevelop high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutionsConduct code reviews, analyze peer submissions, identify issues, and suggest improvementsMaintain code and application quality, including writing automated testsAssist in project planning, solution design, and development decisionsContribute to continuous improvement in technical and process areasEnsure security compliance, including PCI DSS and ISO***** standardsOwn the systems you develop, ensuring long-term maintainability, scalability, and reliabilityRequired skills and qualificationsExperience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance software solutionsProficiency with Git and GitHub workflowsKnowledge of common development languages and toolsExperience with databases, both NoSQL/Document and SQLProblem-solving mindsetTeam-oriented attitudeSkills preferred by the teamExperience with AWS services such as Lambda, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and Step FunctionsKnowledge of NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript frameworksBenefits & PerksOur benefits are evolving as we grow.At minimum, you can expect:Periodic fun work trips, meetups, and events across the UK and Europe26 days of annual leave plus nine Scottish bank holidaysDiscretionary bonusPension contributionsTraining and certification opportunitiesMedical coverageAccess to online training programs#J-*****-Ljbffr
