Powersoft Sp A is an Italian based multinational group, listed on the Italian Stock Exchange, that counts more than 150 employees.Powersoft is the world leader in the design, production, and commercialization of products and patented solutions for applications in the professional audio field, such as big international shows, concerts, theatres, cinemas, stadiums, airports, train stations, cruises, etc.Role For increasing our QA and Test tooling development team in Florence, we are looking for candidates with strong experience in Test Automation to join our dynamic team as an Automation Test Engineer .The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.This role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams including firmware, software and hardware.Key responsibilities Design and develop automated test frameworks for various products (amplifier, desktop software, webapp, mobile app).Implement and maintain automated test suites for regression, integration, and performance testing.Collaborate with development teams to identify areas for automation and ensure comprehensive test coverage.Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report on findings.Identify performance issues and bugs early in the development lifecycle and work with teams to resolve them.Document test cases, procedures, and outcomes for ongoing reference and improvement.Continuously optimize existing automation processes to maximize testing efficiency.Technical skills Must-have Ability to translate requirements into automated test cases.Experience in C# programming language Familiarity with version control systems like Git Nice-to-have Experience with network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) Experience with network performance testing tools (e.g., Wireshark, iperf) Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, Test Complete, Test NG, or Cypress Proficiency in languages such as Python or Java Script Personal skills Strong communication and collaboration skills.Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Ability to meet deadline and adapt to changing priorities The environment is dynamic, fast-paced and requires a self-starter attitude Passion for audio is definitely a plus Education and Experience A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, electrical engineering A master's degree is definitely a plus.A combination of hardware and software skills would be a great advantage Good communication skills in English, written and spoken Environment: Pioneer, competent and inspired, creatives and innovators - We are renowned for our technological leadership Teamwork oriented, welcoming and ambitious - we focus on developing one's potential, and we cherish profound collaborations that allow us to discover new points of view.
