Overview Would you be interested in joining the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) as an interim via Randstad Italia? We are looking for a Scientific Research Assistant in the Novel Foods area . Assignment Assignment : initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment 12 months. Salary Salary : approx €****,00 per month before taxes. Work modalities Work modalities : office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possible within 2 hours from EFSA\\'s premises in Parma, Italy, for the remaining days. Responsibilities collecting and analyzing scientific data for applications and generic mandates in the area of Nutrition and Novel food; undertaking literature searches and contributing to reviews on selected scientific topics; contributing to drafting of preparatory background information for scientific opinions and presenting them to experts; technical support with the organisation of meetings; providing editorial support, including aligning of draft opinions with EFSA standards. Requirements excellent knowledge of English (at least B2 level); graduate in Food Science, Chemistry, Nutrition, or a related life science area; 1 year of relevant working experience in writing scientific documents and in extracting and analysing scientific data; ability to extract, compile and analyse data and scientific information from various fields; behavioural competencies: ability to work with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results.
