Company DescriptionSant Ambroeus has been a beloved Italian restaurant in New York for almost forty years, offering contemporary Milanese inspired cuisine and exceptional service in unique locations.The original Sant Ambroeus opened in Milan in **** and has since expanded to Upper East Side, Soho, West Village, Brookfield Place, Southampton, and Palm Beach.Partners Gherardo Guarducci and Dimitri Pauli have brought generations of Italian culinary tradition to America, providing outstanding dining experiences.Sant Ambroeus is part of the SA Hospitality Group, which also includes Casa Lever and Felice Ristorante & Wine Bars.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Service Supervisor located in Milan.The Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service, and training staff.Duties include managing staff schedules, addressing customer inquiries and ensuring that a high standard of service is consistently maintained.QualificationsSupervisory Skills: Experience in managing and overseeing a teamCustomer Satisfaction and Customer Service: Ability to ensure and improve customer experienceTraining: Capability to train and develop staffCommunication: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsRelevant experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentFluency in Italian and English, knowledge of other languages is a plusAble to work evening shifts
