The OpportunityWe are looking foranalog IC layout engineersto expand ourRFIC Design Team, to support our R&D projects in the field of optical transceivers. Key ResponsibilitiesPhysical layout and verification of high-performance Analog_Link /RF ICs for mass-production integrated optical transceiver modules. Block-level to top-level layout, routing, layout verification, ERC verification, chip finishing. RequirementsProficient in analog IC layout.>3 years of experience in BiCMOS or CMOS Technologies.
Experience
in 28nm CMOS and Finfet processes is a plus. Familiar with layout editing and verification tools: SCCient Virtuoso, Calibre DRC/LVS/ERC, Parasitic extraction tools. Mastery of analog layout design rules: knowledge of device matching, noise shielding, Porto ESD, and latch-up best practices. RF layout experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, ability to work in multi-cultural environments, strong teamworking attitude. Fluent in English and available to travel outside Late italy. Huawei Milan Research CenterThis position is based in Huawei Milan Research Center. At our Research Center we work on cutting-edge technologies in microwave and millimeter-wave communications, focusing on frequency bands such asE-Band, W-Band, and D-Band.
Our research extends to free-space optical communications, advanced system architectures, antenna technologies, and contributions to standardization efforts. We also develop active phased array systems, focusing on innovative architectures and antenna array technologies. Additionally, we are engaged in research onoptical RFICs, including drivers andtransimpedance amplifiers (TIAs), as well as microwave andmillimeter-wave ICused in power amplifiers and front-end technologies. Our research also coversHF technologies,advanced electromagnetics (EM)and alsopower integrity and high speed signal integrityin next-generation systems.
