Contract TypePermanentCountryITALYLocationMantovaYour opportunitySidel is looking for Labelling Technical Support Expert Mechanical who will be a part of Product Support Back Office Team based in Mantova that will report to Q&TS Manager Main function in the office is to secure the operational follow up & technical support of all Labellers and associated trade equipment on mechanical side.The expert could also be asked to validate internally and externally the introduction of modifications and variants of new products in the portfolioYour MissionSidel is looking for a Labelling Technical Support Expert – Mechanical to join our Product Support Back Office Team in Mantova.In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the operational follow-up and technical excellence of all Labellers (both SSC and stand-alone configurations) and their associated mechanical trade equipment.You'll be responsible for ensuring the technical support and follow-up for these systems, helping to maintain high performance and reliability across our installed base.Your ResponsibilitiesProvide expert technical support for all Labellers and their mechanical trade equipmentSecure ongoing operational follow-up across the full product scopeSupport the validation of modifications and product variants, both internally and externally, for new additions to the Labelling product portfolioCoordinate with other relevant teams to ensure smooth and aligned product updatesTake ownership of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) following issue resolutionDrive and support recovery plans and corrective actions, working in close interaction with other departmentsYour ProfileSecure troubleshooting on Labelling and associated trade equipmentSupport the availability of field methods for installation, qualification, technical analysis, repairing and maintenance activities.Execute Recovery and Corrective Actions on Labellers equipment issues, supporting the consequent plan of it.Secure the application of retrofits on the Labelling products installed base, where necessary.Participate to L3/L4 equipment FAT (workshop) & installation, start-up, validation, commissioning, and services (onsite).Support Regional Product Support during start-up and commissioning of L3/L4 Labeller equipment.Intervention on site in case of technical issues that require a specific recovery and corrective actions & troubleshooting.Improve personal competences on SSC, labeller, and trade associated equipment in addition to line equipment's.Support in the workshop L4 prototype internal qualification (run-off, assembly, test)Support onsite for external qualification of product modifications and variants.Move in zones to reinforce expertise, analysis and communication within Q&TS teams.YOUR ProfileLevel Of Education And LanguagesEducation: Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Technical professional qualificationLanguage requirements: Fluency in English is a must-have, French and Spanish will be a plus; A good level of Italian an advantage for your best local integration.Required Experience And Skills5 years at least of technical assistance, field experience or engineering on Labellers productsExperience in assembly and testing of complex machinery or field and service activities or technical assistance would be an advantageRollfed knowledge is a must, Cold Glue, Adhesive/PSL and Hot Melt will be a plusRigorous, dynamic, organized, proactive, ability to work autonomouslyAvailability to travel up to 75%.SAP knowledge will be a plus.Knowledge of Sidel Labellers products (SSC / standalone) and process will be a plusExcellent reporting capability is a mustStrong verbal and written communication skillsAttitude to problem solving (trouble shooting and RCA) and Customer orientedGood Interpersonal skills, especially ability to communicate with different target groups (technicians, customers, etc.)
