Materials Coordinator

Duration of the contract: April ****, with possible extension, depending on project needs.Purpose of the RoleCoordination and management of receipt of project materials and dedicated storage areas defined together with the Material Management Function.Plans and coordinates the movement of project materials within the production cycle in accordance with the construction/project schedule.Job DescriptionActs as the point of reference within the project, particularly for the Construction Manager (CM), for all information related to material availability and estimated arrival dates at the project warehouses, interfacing directly with the Procurement Coordinator and the Expediting service.Plans and coordinates the management activities of the areas, spaces, and infrastructures dedicated to the project warehouse, reporting any needs for expansion and/or modification based on the expected material arrivals.Coordinates and supervises receiving activities carried out in the warehouses, intervening in critical situations and identifying operational solutions in case of project work overload.Collects information related to project materials (Main Items, TAG items, bulk material) by coordinating with the Detail Engineering function, the Project Procurement Coordinator, and the Expediting function, in order to estimate the volumes of materials to be managed; manages spare parts required for the construction site and for onshore/offshore commissioning activities.Provides information on the expected material volumes for project execution (overall dimensions and weight) to the Material Management function, to plan the storage areas for the project within various warehouses.Knowledge of English and Italian at B2/C1 level (written and spoken).Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionOtherIndustriesOil and Gas#J-*****-Ljbffr
