Company DescriptionCasavo is a next-generation digital real estate agency that leverages technology to simplify and expedite the process of buying and selling real estate.The primary goal is to maximize Casavo's online visibility, attract more potential clients, and organize relevant events to strengthen brand awareness.Job DescriptionCasavo Management S.p.A. seeks a legal intern who will support the company's lawyers in several day-to-day activities related to their practice, as is customary for the role.Based in Milan, Italy at Casavo's main office; telecommuting is possible if the candidate demonstrates the ability to productively work remotely.You will be working on:Provide personal and operational support to the Legal Counsel, with the following activities:(Litigation Matters) – Active and passive litigations with regard to real estate and corporate matters;(Ordinary Corporate Governance) – Corporate Governance formalities both in Italy and abroad (Spain & France);(Extraordinary Transactions) – M&A Activities, due diligence, Equity and debt financing;(Strategic Partnership) – Commercial Agreements;(Intellectual Property) – monitoring and protection of the brand;(Privacy) – support to the DPO;Summarize cases and prepare reports for the company's lawyers;Draft, proof-read, file, organize, and archive legal documents and memos;Conduct research, investigate facts, and develop legal arguments;Monitor changes in the law and jurisprudence, and draft updates.QualificationsConfident and poised attitude in internal and external interactions;Registered or to be registered in the Trainee Register at the Italian Bar(Registro Praticanti presso l'Albo degli Avvocati);Legal research and organizational skills;Exceptional oral and good written communications skills;Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality;Proficiency with office productivity tools;English – B2 or higher;Must be based in or around Milan, Italy.Additional InformationWhat we offerUnderstanding of corporate legal complexity within a dynamic environment with the constant support of the Legal Counsel;Training on the job with cross-function business areas and external law firms and outstanding consultants;Freelance collaboration ) on-site.
