Supply Chain Manager, Last Mile Automation Job ID: ******* | Amazon.com Services LLCAmazon is seeking an industry proven and detail oriented Supply Chain Manager to support supply chain innovation and optimization of automation technologies across our Last Mile delivery operation.Successful candidates are natural self-starters who have prior experience in the integrated automation project life cycle, contract manufacturing, change management, and system supplier and/or technology sourcing.The Senior Supply Chain Manager must be agile with the ability to quickly adapt strategies, plans and solutions in response to dynamic business requirements.They also must be comfortable interfacing and driving various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization.We value open minds, customer focus, innovation empowerment, and a team-first mindset to deliver the most advanced and cost-effective automation solutions globally.This role is crucial in optimizing our processes, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of packages to our customers while maintaining strong supplier relationships and driving continuous improvement in our automation initiatives.Key job responsibilitiesManaging overall supplier relationships including supplier performance, capability, capacity planning, contracting, risk mitigation, cost and quality improvements.Collaborating with technical operations, engineering, and program teams on new product introduction programs to define standard and custom product requirements ensuring sourcing strategies meet the technical capabilities, cost, and business objectives.Drive suppliers' continuous improvement and value engineering in support of program's performance metrics: quality, delivery, capacity, cost and safety.Monitor suppliers' supply chain, manufacturing, human capital with respect to overall program objectives.Development and execution of global commodity strategies that align business requirements with supplier capabilities.Develop alternate sourcing strategies to optimize costs and ensure continuity of supply.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.2+ years of supply chain experience.Experience in supply chain, commodity, and supplier management in a high volume, global sourcing and operations manufacturing environment with a global supply base of contract manufacturers.Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.Experience reviewing and understanding engineering design documents for electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical parts and assembly drawings of products.Experience creating an innovative global supply strategy for the organization resulting in a tangible benefit to the business.Experience managing and negotiating contracts and vendor relationships.Technical, analytical, and management skills to lead RFQs, supplier selection, supplier capacity planning, and supplier risk identification/mitigation in NPI programs.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.Equal Opportunity StatementAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.BenefitsThe base salary range for this position is listed below.Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.Learn more about our benefits at .USA, WA, Bellevue - 82,************,****** USD annually#J-*****-Ljbffr
