Are you a passionate backend developer who loves building clean, reliable APIs and wants to grow into the world of Cloud & DevOps?We are looking for a talented individual to join our team and embrace the mission of enhancing medicine and healthcare through genomicsAbout enGenomeThe impact of genomics on the future of medicine and healthcare will be massive, and our mission is to enhance the diagnosis and treatment of genetic diseases through the use of genomic information.Since ****, we have leveraged artificial intelligence (ML & GenAI) and bioinformatics to guide our development.We have brought to market eVai and VarChat, two best-in-class solutions for identifying causative variants of genetic diseases and supporting the best therapeutic decisions for patients.Have a look at for more information.Our environment is young, energetic, and funMain Responsabilities and DutiesDesign, build, and maintain backend services using Spring / Spring BootDevelop and optimize RESTful APIs, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainabilityWork with Hibernate / JPA for efficient and reliable data persistenceOccasionally maintain or extend services built with Jersey (JAX-RS)Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to deploy robust, production-ready systemsLearn and progressively take ownership of AWS cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, andinfrastructure automationRequirements1+ year of hands-on experience in backend development (preferably with Java & Spring Boot)Solid understanding of REST API design and implementationPractical experience with Hibernate / JPA and relational databases (e.G., PostgreSQL, MySQL)Familiarity with Jersey or other JAX-RS frameworks is a plusKnowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, and modern build pipelinesInterest in AWS, Docker, and DevOps automation tools (Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)Strong problem-solving attitude and willingness to learnNice to HaveFamiliarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Basic Linux and networking knowledgeInterest in observability and monitoring (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)What We OfferA clear growth path from Backend Developer ?
