Network Install Technician, Infrastructure DeliveryJob ID: | Amazon Data Services, Inc.AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.We keep the cloud running by supporting all data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment.You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of next-generation networks and assist in developing innovative ways to automate and scale our network.Key ResponsibilitiesMoving and implementing large enterprise equipmentInstalling fiber and copper cabling and patching cabling between equipmentEnsuring proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installationFollowing well established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activitiesSafely using material handling tools and equipmentTraveling within and outside of regional work area; reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license requiredBasic QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ year of experience in technical or vocational roles such as computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, data center operations, or technical project managementPreferred QualificationsIndustry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+)Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipmentExperience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologiesExperience with medium to large, complex project scopes and ambiguous details within work environmentKnowledge of major command line protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, GNU/Linux) and common networking protocols (BGP, OSPF)Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation, please visit for more information.Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary.For more information, please visit#J-*****-Ljbffr
