.Nature and Scope of Position:The HR department operates across Tuscany – Florence, Pistoia and Arezzo Municipality.Many of the employees are based in the field (Factories) and communication is key to maintaining a healthy working relationship.The department is currently structured as follows: HR Director Supply Chain (reports to the SVP SC), 1 HR Director Supply Chain Factories, 1 HR Advisor (working across both factories) and 1 SC HR Admin (based in Sicla) - these last 2 roles are reporting to the HR Director Supply Chain Factories; 1 HR Advisor based in the JCF Office and managing also JCS- Switzerland.This role of HR Director Supply Chain plays a key part in building on the success of the HR team.Whilst communicating across many levels of the organisation the HR Director Supply Chain SC, will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate processes are kept in place to manage the smooth running of the HR teams' responsibilities.To support and advise managers on the recruitment, induction, attendance, retention, employee relations and employment of appropriately skilled and expert staff to meet business needs.To support and manage with SVP Supply Chain/VP Shoe Division the continuous integration process of both factoriesTo have experience in recruitment and resource planning, particularly Supply Chain TechniciansTo assist the SVP Supply Chain / SVP HR Global with further development of HR systems, procedures and policies and Trade Union managementTo work with the HR team and undertake a variety of HR projects as required including research, proposals, negotiation, implementation and monitoring of initiatives.To work with the Finance team and undertake the implementation of new reports and monitoring forecasts and budgetsResponsibility for keeping current processes and practices up to dateTo develop and deliver training sessions to Line Managers and Key employees on HR policiesTo contribute towards effective employee reward managementOffer an internal consultancy service (at a certain level) to the business, diagnosing issues, identifying needs and providing creative solutions in line with business objectives.Assist Leadership Team to influence managers to ensure that the HR processes are embedded across the business, with a focus on the new factory purchasedBuild and maintain excellent working relationships with business partners (Factory General Directors and line Managers) and networking contacts in order to support the business needs.To provide expertise and guidance to Supply Chain management on all ER issues across the Italy in coordination with the SC HSE ManagerTo provide reliable and trusted employment law advice.Liaise with local Employment Lawyers, where appropriate and within budgetIdentify and assess HR issues which need to be brought to the attention of the rest of the HR team, and act upon as necessaryTo provide advice on immigration and visa queries if requiredTo manage effective relationships with payroll providers as requiredQualification/EducationGraduate calibreEnglish speaking is mandatoryExperience RequiredHR experience within a Supply Chain and Manufacture environment/ experience on redundancies/downsizing is preferableSome payroll experience would be an advantageInvolvement in the appraisal process and pay reviewsDemonstrable experience of producing ad-hoc reportsRecruitment experienceEmployee relations experience, including assisting on disciplinary and grievance issuesParticular skills/knowledge requiredHighly competent user of MS Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointStrong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritiseExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAble to incorporate regular mundane tasks into day to day workloadStrong communication and interpersonal skills, oral and writtenAn understanding of Italian and Switzerland HR employment law and best practiceStrong commercial awarenessConfident team playerAbility to work in a fast paced environment, being flexible in approach to meet the requirements of the businessCharacteristics requiredDiscretion and confidentialityDemonstrable ability to use initiative and be proactiveTeam player with the ability to work on own initiative when requiredConfident and assertive, with the capability and will to develop selfStrong communication skills and pleasant and accommodating dispositionHighly organised with an ability to multi taskAble to work under pressure and meet the needs of a demanding and ever changing/growing businessInnovative and proactive, with a "can do" and flexible approachStrong numerical skillsCommitted with a passion for the role they play in their capacity—The Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.The Company's policy is not to unlawfully discriminate against any applicant or employee on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, age, military status, disability, genetic information or any other consideration made unlawful by applicable federal, state, or local laws.The Company also prohibits harassment of applicants and employees based on any of these protected categories.—At Capri Holdings Limited, we are committed to providing a fair and accessible recruitment process.If you require a reasonable accommodation for the interview or application process, please contact our Talent Acquisition team
