Grid Delivery Manager EMEA, Infrastructure Energy Team Job ID: ******* | Amazon Energy Eoraip Limited - G45The AWS Infrastructure Energy Team (IET) is seeking a results-orientated individual to join in the role of Grid Delivery Manager.In this role you will be responsible for delivering large-scale critical HV/MV grid interconnection projects within EMEA under tight deadlines.The ideal candidate for this role will have high-level technical understanding of critical HV/MV infrastructure projects including substations, cables and overhead lines, with a minimum of 5+ years' experience in delivering HV & MV infrastructure projects/programs from design to energization.The candidate will need to possess strong communication skills, and ability to deliver with diverse teams such as design engineering, construction, planning, environmental and real-estate teams, to ensure delivery to tight timelines.Stakeholder management and weekly reporting on key project risks & issues at senior management, director and vice-president level will be the candidate's responsibility.The candidate will drive the grid infrastructure delivery program, standardize processes, develop tools for delivery executions and support financial budgeting.AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, supporting all AWS data centres and the equipment that keeps the cloud running.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or similar technical focusExperience building and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholdersTravel up to 20% of the timeDemonstrated ability to operate and thrive with partial information and high levels of ambiguity5+ years of experience in building power substations working with utilities and understanding their environment and culture.Experience in analyzing cost/benefit trade-offs across a strategic portfolioDemonstrated understanding of how to successfully transact business in multiple cultural contexts as well as experience directly managing international teams is a plus.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in data centres or critical infrastructureMaster's Degree (MBA/MS) preferred.PMP CertificationExperience designing substations or other energy infrastructure.Experience working for utilities and with or for energy regulators.Ability to communicate in additional languagesAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.We believe passionately that employing a diverse workforce is central to our success.We make recruiting decisions based on your experience and skills.We value your passion to discover, invent, simplify and build.Protecting your privacy and the security of your data is a longstanding top priority for Amazon.Please consult our Privacy Notice ( ) to know more about how we collect, use and transfer the personal data of our candidates.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, please visit for more information.#J-*****-Ljbffr
