In this role, you will focus on developing new software features and digital applications for our advanced Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) family, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive product excellenceYOUR TASKSAnalyze market trends and customer requirements (PRM) to shape future R& D projectsDrive continuous improvement initiatives such as PCD (Product Cost Down) and CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) to reduce costs and increase operational efficiencyLead and manage the development and implementation of new features for our AGV product familyDevelop and validate software features and components through rigorous testingCollaborate effectively with the organization to ensure seamless integration and implementation of new developmentsPartner with Digital Factory of Dürr to develop new digital applications for the Final Assembly Product PortfolioProviding technical support in customer projects on a global scale as requiredGOALSDevelop and promote standardized software frameworks across the product portfolio to ensure consistency and qualityEnhance and unify AGV software standards to improve scalability and maintainabilityCollaborate with other engineers for successful project completionConsolidate and update technical standards and the necessary software and hardware tools to drive efficiency and quality improvementsYOUR QUALIFICATIONDegree in Automation Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar controls engineering roleExcellent proficiency in English (written and spoken). Italian and / or German language skills is a plusStrong experience in PLC programming, preferably with Siemens TIA Portal and Allen-Bradley RSLogix****Programming skills in Visual Studio, Proficiency in C# for developing industrial desktop and backend applications, Python for automation scripts, data analysis, and prototypingExperience with Java for cross-platform or middleware solutions is beneficial, Knowledge of web technologies (Java Script, HTML5, CSS) to develop user interfaces and dashboardsDatabase management skills using SQL and familiarity with industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, MQTT) for seamless system integrationExperience with AGV/AMR technologies, including localization and navigation systemsSolid understanding of motion control systemsFamiliarity with electrical diagrams using tools such as e Plan and Auto CADKnowledge of IT and industrial network solutionsWell-versed in industry standards, key suppliers, customer acceptance processes, and competitor practicesStrong soft skills including creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, and decision-making.Willingness to travel up to 20% annually.Contract: Full-Time / Permanent contract with the companyThe search is open to candidates of both sexes (Law ******).
