Job TitleSenior SAP FICO Consultant (Italian & English Speaking)Contract TypeEmployed/FreelanceJob DescriptionWe are on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Italian-speaking Senior SAP FICO Consultant to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving complex SAP finance transformations.The ideal candidate will possess over a decade of expertise in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling, withsubstantial experience in both SAP ECC (R/3) and SAP S/4HANAenvironments.Role OverviewThis position demands a seasoned professional who can serve as a trusted advisor to our business, effectively bridging the gap between implementation teams and business process owners/key users.The successful candidate will adeptly translate business requirements into system and project specifications, while guiding the business in adapting or remodeling processes to align with an existing S/4HANA global template.This must be achieved while preserving local regulatory and operational requirements specific to Italy.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a senior advisor and subject-matter expert on SAP FICO topics, providing support to business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Act as the primary liaison between business users, process owners, and the SAP implementation team.Analyze, understand, and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and project deliverables.Guide the business in process harmonization and redesign as needed, ensuring alignment with the existing S/4HANA template while safeguarding Italian legal, fiscal, and accounting requirements.Offer expertise across core SAP FICO areas, including Financial Accounting (GL, AP, AR, AA) and Controlling (CO modules as applicable).Support SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation initiatives, including fit-to-standard workshops and impact analysis.Ensure solution quality, consistency, and compliance with local (Italian) accounting, tax, and statutory reporting requirements.Oversee testing phases (unit, integration, UAT), defect resolution, and go-live activities.Provide guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to key users and internal teams.Required Skills & ExperienceOver 10 years of hands-on SAP FICO consulting experience in complex, enterprise-scale environments.Strong functional expertise in SAP FICO across both SAP ECC (R/3) and SAP S/4HANA.Proven experience in advisory or lead consultant roles, engaging directly with senior business stakeholders.Solid understanding of Italian accounting principles, fiscal regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.Experience working with global or regional S/4HANA templates and managing local deviations.Strong ability to translate business needs into functional solutions and explain technical or template-driven constraints to non-technical stakeholders.Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.Fluency in Italian (mandatory); good command of English for project communication.Nice to HaveExperience in large SAP S/4HANA transformation or rollout programs.Exposure to integration points with logistics or other SAP modules.Previous experience in regulated or multinational environments.How to ApplySeniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionInformation Technology and FinanceIndustriesFood and Beverage Services#J-*****-Ljbffr
