Its mandate covers the pricing of funding sources, the production of reporting and performance analysis, forecasting and budget processes.A key feature of the team is the use of a single, business-driven infrastructure, which integrates CRM-based data, behavioural models, and planning tools. This infrastructure enables a consistent approach across pricing, forecasting, and modelling, ensuring that treasury activities are closely aligned with business strategy. The team performs client clustering both for commercial segmentation and for the modelling of sight deposits within an ALM framework. It is also responsible for defining the liquidity and interest rate profiles, supporting the management of interest rate risk and liquidity risk developing appropriate hedging strategies and contributes to the definition of internal transfer pricing. In addition, the team plays a role in innovation and content development within the Group Treasury, designing and implementing methodologies for macroeconomic scenario analysis and simulation, based on internal growth estimates and stress scenariosMain Tasks – Internship in Group Treasury Business Development-Support the pricing and monitoring of retail and wealth management funding-Assist in the production of treasury reporting, including funding KPIs, liquidity profiles, and performance dashboards-Contribute to management control and planning activities: forecasting of instruments, conversion of funding into investments, and budget alignment-Perform data analysis to support the calculation of Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP)-Conduct client clustering exercises for both commercial segmentation and behavioural modelling of deposits-Support the development and maintenance of behavioural models within a CRM-based infrastructure-Contribute to scenario analysis projects, including macroeconomic simulations and stress-testing based on internal forecasts-Develop and automate scripts in Python for data cleaning, reporting, and modelling purposes-Prepare presentations and documentation to communicate analysis and results to the team and senior management-Quantitative academic background: Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science-Good knowledge in data analysis and processing (Excel, SQL, Python, C++ as a plus)-Basic understanding of financial instruments, ALM, and treasury operations-Strong analytical skills, with the ability to link numbers to business implications.-Analytical and collaborative mindsetPer le aziende del Gruppo Mediobanca la diversità e l'inclusività sono valori fondamentali.
