Job Description : The Bid & Proposal Specialist is part of the Simulation, Training & Digital Services Solutions Team. The Bid & Proposal Specialist is responsible, in coordination with the Simulation, Training & Digital Services Solutions Manager, for the development of all the bids and the proposals for the civil and military market, including analysis of both financial and technical aspects to ensure cost and price consistency, profitability sustainability and proposal feasibility. Responsibilities include (but not be limited to) : Analyse the request received from the Customer (RFI / RFP) in terms of feasibility and sustainability, perform the financial analysis and produce the technical documentation and compliance matrix as requested for all the bids and proposals to be managed; Costing and pricing activities to be developed on the basis of the applicable Price List and / or Price Policies applicable for non-standard products and services; Ensure support to Sales Team and Contract Team, as requested during the negotiation phase of the proposals and civil / government bids providing technical information and relevant quotation; Ensure that the proposals and tenders are sustainable through their endorsement by the Approved Simulation, Training & Digital Services Organizations owners; Support the presentation of the proposal to the Customer (including availability to travel worldwide for short periods). Support the preparation of integrated Customer Support & Training bids and proposals, as applicable; Provide the necessary administration of the proposal issued; Evaluate the priority of important and urgent tasks; Support Simulation, Training & Digital Services Program and / or Contract Manager functions providing technical information and commercial quotation, as applicable; Constantly adjust the products and services offering and integration to the business demand including the development of customized / specific packages; Develop Simulation, Training & Digital Services Price List and Price Policies; Monitor bids and proposal trend and status and provide the necessary report to the Simulation, Training & Digital Services Management; Track the performance of the Order Intake for the Simulation & Training Services Management; Support Marketing function providing technical and commercial information to support the preparation of brochures and / or catalogues as requested; Support Simulation & Training Services producing the technical and commercial documentation and supporting the costing and pricing activities as applicable for the development of specific Business Plans; PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS Hold a degree or Bachelor Degree in Technical or Economical fields (preferably new graduate); Good verbal, written and digital communication skills in English (B1 or equivalent); HARD SKILLS Standard MS Office and MS Project package SOFT SKILLS The Candidate shall have the following soft skills : Highly motivated and target oriented, able to operate in a team environment Possess a diligent and meticulous approach to duties in order to maintain the highest standards Good interpersonal, reporting and communication skills, to interface with internal and external Customers in a smooth way, ensuring transparency and clear communication To identify Customer needs and requirements in order to develop tailored proposals in accordance with their needs Anticipatory, change oriented and self-initiated Well organized to manage stressful situation and unforeseen circumstances in a constructive manner.
