Saipem is a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore.Saipem is "One Company" organized into business lines : Asset Based Services, Drilling, Energy Carriers, Offshore Wind, Sustainable Infrastructures, Robotics & Industrialized Solutions.Always oriented towards technological innovation, the company's purpose is "Engineering for a sustainable future".As such Saipem is committed to supporting its clients on the energy transition pathway towards Net Zero, with increasingly digital means, technologies and processes geared for environmental sustainability.Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, it is present in more than 50 countries around the world and employs about 30,000 people of over 130 nationalities.Role1st Assistant (Shift Supervisor) – Asset Based Services BL (ABSER) within the Offshore Operations Department.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate work and manpower on board for the assigned shift in compliance with Project specifications, ensuring efficient performance and adherence to HSE and Quality procedures.Assist the Offshore Construction Manager with interdisciplinary coordination of all works on board.Supervise foremen and supervisors across various disciplines/categories of construction and assembly to meet quality and safety standards.Coordinate construction activities during the shift and optimise all production phases.Keep the Offshore Construction Manager fully informed of potential problems and construction status.Liaise with subcontractor supervisors to optimise production.Resolve coordination, priority, and interface issues among disciplines to meet project scopes.Ensure the Permit-to-Work system for construction crew is adhered to and that daily Tool Box Talks and JSA, if required, are carried out according to procedures.Motivate construction crew/subcontractors on health, safety, and environmental awareness.Ensure compliance with Saipem QHSE policies and safety procedures for a safe work environment.Report incidents and near-miss events.Manage crane operations, coordinating with the Chief Mate for main crane movements on board, ROV launching, and underwater operations.Assist marine operations when required.Provide a construction report at the end of each shift.Assist the Vessel Field Engineer in tracking project equipment and consumables, and in monitoring stinger and JLT operations.Ensure rigging gear is within date and properly marked.Travel abroad based on project assignments.QualificationsPreferably holds a bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or naval engineering.***** years of relevant experience.Fluency in Italian and English (minimum B2/C1).BenefitsPermanent contract.Comprehensive benefits package: health insurance, discounts and partnerships, services related to health, family, and well-being.Opportunities for skills development, career growth, and innovation through complex challenges.Location & ScheduleAbroad with availability to work offshore shifts.Company CultureSaipem embraces diversity, fostering an environment of mutual respect and collaboration.Safety and sustainability are paramount in all operations.#J-*****-Ljbffr
