Alpinestars is the leading global performance motorsports apparel, protection and footwear manufacturer.For over 60 years the company has been providing the world's best athletes and motorsports enthusiasts in the pursuit of performance excellence with the most technologically advanced products which fuse protection, performance, innovation and style.Thanks to the outstanding quality and continuous innovation of our products, we are currently going through a solid expansion phase on the global market, for which we aim to reinforce our strongly international teams with top talent from anywhere in the world.PositionWe are currently seeking for a proactive and passionate Junior Product Developer – Gloves to join our Moto Apparel team, located in Asolo.In this role, you will enter a team of specialists where you will have the opportunity to grow professionally and technically, delivering prompt support on a wide range of technical product development related activities.Main ResponsibilitiesYou will provide support to the team on a wide range of technical product development related duties such as drafting, completing, and checking BOMs, cost file maintenance as well as PLM related activities.Moreover, you will be directly involved in material related activities, such as checking the material quality upon arrival, as well as following up on related testing activities.You will also be strongly involved in suppliers' management related actions, having the opportunity to work closely as well as to build solid working relationships with them.You will support on items quality checks and fittings, gaining the opportunity to further develop your technical skillset.RequirementsEducational background in Technical Product Development within the Sportswear and / or Performance wear fields.Proficiency in Microsoft Office package (Excel, PPT, Word, etc) and in Illustrator.Fluency in English will be a must-have.You will boast a proactive, enthusiastic and collaborative approach to work, showcasing solid communication skills, assertiveness as well as reactiveness when facing challenges and / or work-related urgencies.Previous working experience in developing technical gloves will be considered a strong plus.Previous experience with technical documentation such as BOMs, as well as with systems such as PLM will be considered an asset.As you will be working closely with our US offices, work hours flexibility will be a strong asset.Pattern Making related skills and / or experience will be considered a strong plus.Interest in the Motorsports and / or MTB sectors will be considered a strong plus.Other Information#J-*****-Ljbffr
