The Information Technology Systems Manager reports to the Head of the Information and Communication Technology Unit and is responsible for installing, maintaining, and monitoring all activities and functions of the network and resources. The role includes evaluating the company's needs, providing new IT solutions and processes, planning and analyzing resources and costs related to hardware and software supplies for the OPIS information system, and managing domains, accounts, and related issues. The manager also supervises the activities of the IT Systems Architect and Services Desk Operator. What you'll be doing : Assess the company's needs and provide new IT solutions and processes; Plan and analyze resources and costs related to hardware and software supplies for the OPIS information system; Manage domains, accounts, and related issues; Plan and ensure proper backup procedures; Install, maintain, and monitor all activities and functionalities of the network and resources; Ensure all installed software is licensed and covered by maintenance or assistance contracts; Support contract negotiations to meet required service levels, establishing problem resolution procedures; Ensure data security against internal and external threats; Provide training on specific aspects of the information system; Maintain all documentation related to the information system; Oversee new projects, maintenance of existing systems, and system operations; Diagnose and resolve problems such as poor performance or system failures, ensuring service levels are met and quality, security, and safety needs are addressed; Discuss system changes and their impact with the Head of ICT and ITSA, including critical issues; Evaluate design enhancements, capacity changes, contingency, and recovery plans, considering operational requirements like service levels, network availability, response times, security, and repair times; Review costs against external providers, new developments, and services, proposing network design changes for cost reductions and benefits; Obtain and evaluate proposals from equipment, software, and network service providers; Participate in all aspects related to ICT systems during audits and inspections; Serve as System Administrator. What you have : High school diploma in information technology or related scientific fields; At least 3 years of relevant work experience; In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows installation, configuration, and maintenance; Knowledge of networking issues; Experience managing network services such as mail server, web server, domain, Active Directory, Firewall, Router, and backup; Fluent in English; Strong planning and organizational skills; Leadership and communication skills; Result-oriented mindset; Team-oriented approach.
