OverviewCESI has decades of experience in consultancy services related to Static and Dynamic Monitoring Systems aimed to know the time history development of structures, infrastructures and territories.The CESI Consulting Division offers conventional services, such as design and installation of new monitoring systems, maintenance and surveillance in operation phase, and innovative technological services.In the last 30 years CESI has implemented and upgraded software tools to collect and manage data from monitoring systems, always oriented to introduce advanced methodologies in monitoring projects.These activities are supported by the active participation of CESI personnel in main scientific and technological national committees and international working groups, to stay on the functional and technological leading edges.Team and locationAs Monitoring Systems Product Leader, the candidate will be responsible for CESI activities devoted to Static and Dynamic Monitoring Systems that assist final clients—typically dams, architectural heritage monuments, civil infrastructures and high hydrogeological risk area owners/responsibles—in design and installation of new monitoring systems, maintenance and surveillance in operation phase, and innovative technological services such as implementation of new functionality specifications and/or new data managing systems.After a first period of integration and training, the activity will be mainly in the CESI Office of Seriate, where the Research & Development laboratories and the Centralized Monitoring Data Room are located.The role could require periods out of the office (Italy and abroad), both on-site and at Client premises, for meetings and operative activities.Job DescriptionAs Product Leader the candidate will be responsible for the Technical Quality of project reports as well as of tender proposals, and therefore also for the Business Development of the Monitoring Systems Product.The candidate will contribute in different phases of monitoring systems projects for CESI Clients, from initial assessment and gap analysis of existing monitoring infrastructures and applications, through conceptual and definitive design, detailed functional specification, support to tendering process, and overall owner's or engineering activity, including detailed design review and participation in installation and final technical testing phases.The candidate will take responsibility for organizing the experts allocated to the monitoring systems product activities (design, maintenance and surveillance), as well as for coordination, monitoring and evaluation of activities to ensure timely and quality deliveries to Clients.What Cesi Is Looking ForEducation Level and CertificationsMaster Degree preferably in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (with high degree score)Registration in the professional register for signing projectsProfessional courses and habilitations in monitoring systems will be considered a plus.ExpertiseInstrumentation for structural and/or hydrogeological monitoring (including knowledge of instrumentation with an innovative operating principle such as fiber optic sensors)Design of systems for remote data acquisition, management and transmissionImplementation of new instrumental and electrical diagrams and/or development of existing diagrams gap analysisImplementation, design and deep knowledge of Hardware and software technologies for telecommunicationsImplementation, design and deep knowledge of telecommunications networks and of sensor networks for environmental and structural monitoring applicationsDeep knowledge of innovative monitoring technologies (e.g.: IoT techniques, Crowd Counting techniques, satellite monitoring technologies e.g. GNSS / InSAR, OBIA - Object Based Image Analysis technologies)Knowledge of the characteristics required for electro-mechanical works and auxiliary civil works needed in the context of a monitoring system construction, in both structural and hydrogeological fieldsGIS knowledge will be considered a plus.Years of ExperienceAt least 15 yearsLanguagesItalian, English.Fluency in English is required.Knowledge of Spanish will be considered a plus.What Cesi Is OfferingA challenging job in a dynamic and international environment focused on shaping the future of energy.The position is rewarded appropriately.Settore: EnergiaRuolo: Ingegneria/ProgettazioneTipo di occupazione: Contratto a tempo indeterminato#J-*****-Ljbffr
