Enfinity Global is a purpose-driven company focused on making a positive impact on the planet by helping companies, governments, and individuals transition to a carbon-free and sustainable economy.Our role as a leading IPBemprising is to??, finance, build, operate, and owncía renewable energy assets in the long term in Europe, Asia, and the Americas through our offices in the USA, Spain, Italy, UK, Netherlands, India, and JapanOur team of over 400 Enfiniters comprises seasoned finance professionals, as well as experienced project developers and operators with extensive industry experience across all stages of the project life cycle.We pride ourselves on being creative and innovative solution providers to our customers and partner.Job DescriptionEnfinity Global is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of BESS to support our Storage projects pipeline with end-to-end technical leadership across battery energy storage systems.This newly created role is Camera optimising technology selection based on business models across our diverse global markets and driving strategic supplier belangagement.We are looking for a strong technical profile with solid experience in BESS technologies, vendor ecosystems, procurement structures, and price benchmarking.The ideal candidate will bring deep sector knowledge from a leading storage provider and the ability to align technical choices with commercial and operational priorities.Key responsibilitiesTechnology & Business Model AlignmentIdentify and evaluate BESS technologies suitable for Enfinity's portfolio across various geographies and regulatory frameworks.Assess technology fit based on business models such as grid services, merchant storage, hybrid solar-storage, and utility-scale deployments.Translate market insights into technical specifications and strategic recommendations.Play a key role in collaboration with Procurement in selecting vendors and defining mid- and long-term strategies from a technical standpoint, ensuring alignment with the project's energy requirements and sustainability goals.Interface directly with major BESS vendors (e.g., Fluence, Wartsila, Sungrow, Tesla, Jinko, CATL, EStorage) to understand capabilities, cost drivers, and differentiation.Support technical due diligence during procurement, including price analysis, warranty coverage, and long-term performance metrics.Advise on risk mitigation strategies regarding supplier quality and geopolitical exposure.Construction Phase SupportOversee the execution and construction of BESS hybrid and stand-alone projects globally to ensure compliance with design, safety standards, and project timelines.Coordinate with contractors and engineers to resolve site-level challenges.Conduct periodic inspections and quality assurance reviews during construction to identify deviations early.Support timely mitigation efforts and maintain documentation for commissioning readiness.Internal Collaboration & Thought LeadershipAct as the technical reference point for BESS within the Storage Global team and across engineering, development, and procurement.Help shape our sourcing strategy and technology roadmap to ensure future-proof system architecture.Represent Enfinity Global externally in supplier discussions and sector forums as a trusted technical authority.RequirementsBachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy Systems, or a related technical discipline.10+ years of experience.Minimum 5 years of experience in BESS technology, ideally at a manufacturer or integrator level.Strong understanding of cell technologies, PCS and EMS architectures, and system integration.Experience in procurement processes, vendor qualification, and cost modeling.Familiarity with business models driving BESS adoption across the U.S., EU, and Asia markets.Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural setting.In Enfinity Global, you will find a very dynamic and multinational environment in one of the most exciting and impactful industries.Here we will foster your professional and personal growth, and you will have the opportunity to actively contribute and make a real impact on climate change.Let's build our future together.Visit to discover more about our culture and values.Private Health InsurancePaid Time OffTraining & DevelopmentPerformance BonusTickets RestaurantHead Of Bess • Milan, Metropolitan City of Milan, IT#J-*****-Ljbffr
