3 giorni faJob ID: ******* | Amazon Payments Europe S.C.A. - B84We're seeking an exceptional Senior Finance Manager to lead Financial Controllership and Accounting for Amazon's European payments entity.This leadership position will play a crucial role in financial compliance and controllership while contributing to strategic initiatives across our European operations.As a Senior Finance Manager, you will lead the Financial Controllership and Accounting function for Amazon Payments Europe S.C.A., ensuring excellence in statutory reporting and regulatory compliance, driving process improvements and optimizing controllership processes across our global matrix environment.Working within our innovative and collaborative culture, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to complex, high-impact projects and shape the financial operations of a key European entity.Key job responsibilitiesLead statutory and regulatory financial reporting, and manage responses to regulatory inquiriesDrive critical judgment decisions for financial reportingLead cross-functional international projects and process improvementsDesign and implement best-practice controllership standardsDrive continuous improvement in reporting processes and controls, including utilizing novel technologiesServe as technical accounting subject-matter expert (US GAAP and local GAAP), making key decisions on complex accounting treatmentsOversee and manage the external audit process for financial statements, serving as the primary point of contact for auditorsA day in the lifeFinance and Global Business ServicesAbout the teamDemonstrable years of relevant professional experience with accounting and financial reporting related responsibilitiesBachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related fieldPreferred QualificationsBig 4 public accounting experience with multinational clientsProfessional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA or equivalent)Knowledge of EU payments regulatory environment and experience managing regulatory relationshipsProven track-record in statutory reporting, internal controls, and managing external auditsStrong judgment and decision-making capabilities in complex accounting and regulatory mattersExcellence in stakeholder management and executive communicationStrong project management and prioritization abilitiesExperience leading through ambiguity and changeTech-savvy with strong analytical capabilitiesDemonstrated ability to provide strategic direction while maintaining attention to detailAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
