Position: Event-Travel Project ManagerCompany: EMI Meetings & Incentives Italy Location: Rome (no remote work available) About EMI Meetings & Incentives Italy: EMI Italy is a leading Destination Management Company (DMC) in Italy, specializing in delivering bespoke and exceptional motivational programs.We work with a diverse network of international clients, offering unique, tailor-made solutions with a friendly, professional attitude.Role Overview: We are looking for a highly experienced, motivated, creative, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Event Travel Project Manager.Working closely with a team of experienced professionals, the chosen candidate will be an integral part of our company, handling a variety of exciting projects.This role is central to the success of our operations, involving the design, pitching, planning, and flawless execution of events from concept to completion.Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee all assigned projects, ensuring their seamless execution from initial concept through to event completion.Manage logistics, design coordination, event budget monitoring, and accounting.Creative Leadership: Lead the creative process, preparing and presenting high-quality project proposals that align with client needs and expectations.Event Delivery: Take responsibility for the successful delivery of events, including planning, design, and post-event closure.Apply effective project management techniques to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.Supplier Negotiation: Handle negotiations with suppliers regarding rates, content, availability, and timelines, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.Administrative Duties: Manage budgeting, invoicing, and ensure accurate tracking of financial elements related to events.Site Inspections: Organize and facilitate site inspections and accompany clients when necessary.Multitasking: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth communication between all contributors throughout the process.Client Relations: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, adapting to their requirements while maintaining a flexible approach.Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 3 years of incentive travel management experience, preferably with a DMC or within the tourism industry.Education: A Bachelor's degree in Events, Tourism, Marketing, or Communication is preferred.Creative Thinking: High-level creativity and the ability to generate unique ideas and solutions to meet client needs.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including copywriting, and the ability to effectively present ideas to clients and internal teams.Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet, tackle challenges, and ensure smooth event delivery under tight deadlines.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and an ability to learn new tools quickly.Languages: Fluent in English and Italian (additional languages such as Portuguese, German, and/or French are a plus).If this sounds like the perfect fit for you, we would love to hear from you.Please send your CV and Cover Letter to
