The Account Manager is responsible for developing and expanding the customer base by scouting, identifying, and opening new accounts, while managing and growing existing customers.The role is highly field-oriented and requires constant travelling to support retailers through trainings, in-store visits, local event activations and after sales support.In addition to strong commercial and relationship skills, the Account Manager is expected to actively manage reporting and analytics to track performance, support decision-making, and improve execution in the territory.Ideally the candidate should be located in the area of Bologna / North Tuscany/ Florence - fully remote working.Key tasks Proactively scout, identify, and open new customers in the assigned territory, with a strong focus on business development and network expansion Manage and grow existing accounts, driving both sell-in and sell-out performance Plan and execute regular store visits to ensure correct brand representation, product visibility, and commercial execution Deliver structured product trainings to KOTF, improving product knowledge and selling effectiveness Support and activate local events, demos, and community activations together with retailers and marketing team Represent the brand at trade shows, events, and partner activations Collect, analyze, and report on sales performance, customer results, and territory KPIs Monitor sell-in/sell-out data, stock levels, distribution, and activation effectiveness to identify risks and opportunities Produce regular reports and insights on market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback, translating data into specific actions to improve the performance of assigned customers Ensure consistent execution of company strategy, pricing, and retail guidelines based on both field observations and data analysis Work closely with internal sales&marketing, sharing insights and contributing to forecasts and planning To succeed, you should exhibit the following skills and qualifications: Experience managing customer accounts and building long-term business relationships Ability to understand customer needs and tailor commercial solutions effectively Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills Experience working closely with Marketing teams to align sales and activation plans and ability to support or execute sell-through and marketing campaigns at account level Strong insight into market trends, competition, and consumer behavior Data-driven approach: ability to interpret sales, demand, and market data Native Italian speaker and excellent English skills, both written and spoken Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to handle customer challenges creatively Ability to collaborate effectively across functions (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Product, Operations)Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment A passion for outdoor sports and/or consumer technology is an advantage Knowledge in diving (OWD certification) is a plus What do we offer?At Suunto, you will join a focused and motivated team operating in the fast-moving world of wearables and outdoor technology.As part of a globally recognized brand with strong heritage, you will work in a professional environment built on innovation, teamwork, and a genuine passion for the outdoors.We operate with lean structures, which means every role has real impact.We are disciplined, efficient, and used to "fighting for every euro," maximizing every opportunity to strengthen our awareness, footprint, and commercial performance.You will have the autonomy to influence results in your accounts or region while collaborating with colleagues who share a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.In a small yet dedicated team like ours, your role truly matters, and your ability to identify opportunities and turn them into concrete outcomes will directly support our growth and success.How to Apply Please share your application in English and include your salary expectation and earliest possible starting date.If you believe there's a match with your profile and this role, apply as soon as possible - we are reviewing applications on a rolling basis and will hire as soon as we find the right candidate.Please indicate your available start date I'm open to receiving feedback on my application#J-*****-Ljbffr
