Join to apply for the Pre Sales Engineer Italy role at Tufin.Tufin is the leader in Network Security Policy Orchestration for enterprise cybersecurity.Our customers rely on Tufin to simplify the management of large, complex networks consisting of thousands of firewall and network devices and emerging hybrid cloud infrastructures.Enterprises select the award-winning Tufin Orchestration Suite to increase agility while maintaining a robust security posture.The Suite reduces the attack surface, provides greater visibility into secure application connectivity, and enables enterprises to implement changes in minutes with proactive risk analysis and continuous policy compliance.ResponsibilitiesMeet or exceed quarterly and yearly product/service sales goals.Provide extensive tactical and strategic pre-sales support for the Tufin sales team in the region.Identify and develop business opportunities with potential customers, channels, and partners.Provide technical pre-sales support to potential customers, existing customers, partners, and resellers.This includes interaction with internal groups such as product management, marketing, R&D, and post-sales support.Initiate and manage numerous remote proof-of-concept installations.Train partners and resellers on the proper positioning and technical sales of Tufin products.Interface with R&D & Product Management to articulate collected RFEs and the associated business cases.Collect and disseminate technical competitive information.Execute responsibilities using all possible media and methods, including conference calls, emails, web demonstrations, on-site visits, public presentations, trade show attendance, and more.RequirementsExperience2-5 years of experience in networking and security.Practical experience with development, delivery, and deployment.Ability to work in a sales-team environment, participating in sales strategies as well as stand-alone sales activities.Understanding of highly charged sales situations and hidden agendas.Highly developed interpersonal skills.Strong presentation and pitch skills.Rapid understanding and articulation of new technology.High sense of urgency and deep interest in serving the customer.SkillsHands-on functional experience with multiple firewall platforms including Check Point Firewall-1, Provider-1, and VSX; Cisco FWSM, CSM, ASA, routers, and switches; Juniper Firewalls and NSM; Fortinet Forti Gate; Palo Alto Networks; Cloud Security (NSX, Open Stack, AWS, etc.).Deep current and historical understanding of firewall and security architectures.Strong working knowledge of application development cycles, delivery, and deployment.Hands-on, strong functional understanding of networking.Some international travel is required (up to 50%).Languages: Italian & English (must).Nice to haveHands-on functional understanding of supporting technologies such as SSH, LDAP, Active Directory, Radius, TACACS, SIM, and event correlation.Hands-on functional understanding of parallel technologies such as VMWare, APT, Cloud (AWS, Azure, NSX, Open Stack) and F5.Your personal data will be used in accordance with our Privacy Notice, available at
