About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Specialist to join our Italian team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations supporting both local and regional reporting. The ideal candidate has solid accounting experience excellent analytical skills and a hands-on approach to managing daily finance activities in a fast-paced international environment. Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger entries and reconciliations. Handle accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely and accurate processing. Prepare and review journal entries accruals and adjustments. Support monthly quarterly and annual financial closings. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports. Coordinate with external accountants auditors and tax advisors as needed. Ensure compliance with Italian statutory requirements and company accounting policies. Monitor and manage cash flow bank reconciliations and expense tracking. Support budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with the EMEA finance team. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support management in Italian and English. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. 3 years of experience in accounting or finance preferably in an international company. Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP and familiarity with IFRS principles. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. NetSuite SAP or similar) and MS Excel. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Fluent in Italian and proficient in English (both written and verbal). Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
