Cargill is a family company committed to providing food and agricultural solutions to nourish the world in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with producers and customers to source, make and deliver products that are vital for living.By providing customers with life's essentials, we enable businesses to grow, communities to prosper, and consumers to live well.This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products.Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.Job Purpose and ImpactThe EIA Engineer will plan, support, and where applicable, execute engineering deliverables for Electric and Instrumental area on construction/refurbishing/maintenance projects of the plant.We seek a professional who will manage projects in EIA area and give support for his competence area to Build project Managers, applying engineering standards and procedures, providing advice on issues within the engineering field.Key AccountabilitiesPlan, design and estimate time and cost, overseeing construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, systems and components.Analyse and develop solutions to engineering problems related to process equipment and systems or the causes of component failures.Design and improve processes, installing and testing instruments and equipmentIndependently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering or equivalent experienceMinimum of two years of related work experienceFluent in Italian and English languagePreferred QualificationsExperience in chemical/food/pharma industry on Engineering or Maintenance roles.Knowledge on main related European Standards (machine directive, LV, Atex, etc,)Our OfferWe provide a fast paced stimulating international environment, which will stretch your abilities and channel your talents.We also offer competitive salary and benefits combined with outstanding career development opportunities in one of the largest and most solid private companies in the world.Interested?Then make sure to send us your CV and cover letter in English today:Follow us on LinkedIn: is committed to being an inclusive employer.Click here to find out more
