OverviewJoin to apply for theAssociate Support - Sales Deskrole atFidelity International.We're seeking candidates for a permanent role based in Milan/Hybrid.The application deadline is 31 January ****.About The OpportunityTitle: Associate Support - Sales DeskDepartment: Wholesale Sales SupportLocation: Milan/HybridReports To: Team Leader - Sales DeskWe're proud to have been helping our clients build better financial futures for over 50 years.By working together and supporting each other, we aim to help clients achieve their financial objectives.Join our Sales Desk team and feel like you're part of something bigger.About your teamThe Sales Desk Team is part of the Italian Wholesale Sales Team and is responsible for distributing Fidelity's investment proposition to Banks, Financial Advisor Networks, Private Banks, Fund of Funds, Family Offices, Wealth Managers, and Insurers.The team covers all asset classes available from Fidelity and is committed to placing Fidelity as the trusted deliverer of clients' financial goals.This entails putting the customer at the heart of everything we do and acting in the best interest of our clients.About your roleThe purpose of the Associate Support - Sales Desk role is to support the Distribution Sales Team in strengthening Fidelity's relationships with intermediaries, achieving sales targets and retaining assets by proactive telesales work.You will directly engage with a range of clients to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of the Italian sales plan.From time to time you may attend events and maintain client relationships built from engagement work.You will also support the team in responding to client requests and preparing information, meeting material and data.You will play an important part in delivering Sales Team performance against sales targets.Induction and ongoing training will be provided on sales and product & industry knowledge.The wider Italian Sales team is collaborative and supportive.Key ResponsibilitiesProactively promote Fidelity's Italian sales plan and product initiatives to a defined list of clients via telesales campaigns (outbound and inbound).Promote Fidelity's Italian sales events to drive attendance and follow up with attendees to maximise sales opportunities.Respond efficiently to client requests for product information and proactively develop potential sales opportunities.Enter and maintain quality information on Salesforce CRM.Analyse the existing client base to identify opportunities to promote Fidelity Investments products in support of campaigns and team sales goals.Develop a detailed understanding of client base to engage in marketing and campaign activities.Proactively generate ideas for enhancing sales aids and presentation material.Collaborate with the wider Italian team to reach ambitious growth objectives.This role is an excellent stepping stone for those wishing to start a career in the asset management industry as sales professionals.The role offers the opportunity to develop a strong external network.We are looking for candidates with an attitude and energy that suits a high-performing and results-oriented telesales role.About youAt least a three-year university degree in economics, law, banking, insurance, finance, technical or scientific disciplines + a minimum 6-month professional experience.Sound understanding of the market, financial products and competitive landscape.Telesales experience would be a plus.Sales and results driven attitude with a strong desire to make things happen.Highly motivated and energetic.Ability to build credibility and liaise with clients (especially on the telephone).Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment and understand business priorities.Team worker, well organized, diligent and reliable.Good practical PC skills, skilled in Excel and PowerPoint.Fluent in both Italian and English.Note: This is a junior role.Feel rewardedFor starters, we'll offer you a comprehensive benefits package.We'll value your wellbeing and support your development.We'll be flexible about where and when you work – finding a balance that works for everyone.This is part of our commitment to motivating you and making you happy to be part of our team.For more about our work and dynamic working approach, visit careers.fidelityinternational.com.Job specificsSeniority level: AssociateEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Other#J-*****-Ljbffr
