The Data Analyst – Data Modeller will be responsible for designing data solutions that move data from source to target.The Data Analyst-Data Modeller will also ensure the data is of a high quality in order to be trusted by downstream users. The successful candidate must have solid hands-on experience with data modelling, data mappings, designing data flows and data solutions in the areas of data warehousing andor big data.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with the Product Owner, Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand the business requirementsAnalyse data from key source systems and develop data models for a better understanding of the source systemsSupport the Data Architect in developing data architectureCreate data flow diagrams, data mappings and scenarios that transform the data from source to targetUnderstand the data and requirements at a deep level and ensure that the BI solution is of high quality in terms of accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, uniqueness and validityUnderstand and support Business Analysis, Data Engineering and Data IntegrationsCollaborate with the rest of the team to developing, implementing and executing test strategiesQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEStrong experience on SQL and JsonExperience with Agile deliveryExperience with data mappings and data cleansingExperience with modelling relational, dimensional, conceptual, logical and physical data modelsExperience with structured, semi-structured and unstructured dataExperience with modelling in a team against company standardsExcellent data modelling skills and long experience with using various data modelling tools (previous experience with ERwin is a bonus)Fluency in English (oral and written)What we offerWe offer a range of benefits including new Learning opportunities, a comprehensive Welfare System, Life and Health Insurance, Modern Workstation and Discounts within the MSC group.Moreover, MSC Technology Italy fosters a culture of innovation and wellbeing by simultaneously pursuing various initiatives.
