Passionate people create exceptional things Did you know that the solutions we develop are a key part of most industries?Electronics, medical research, renewable energy, food production, infrastructure and many more.We ´re everywhereWorking with us means working with the latest technologies and groundbreaking, sustainable innovations.With our inclusive and caring environment, you get the support and inspiration you need to grow.Here, your ideas are embraced, and you never stop learning.Interested in being part of our team?Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow.Here in our PC we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer willing to take part to the implementation of new Manufacturing workflow methods.Why do we need new methods?Our aim is to adhere to Lean best practice with the goal of further improve the workplace efficiency of our Production environment.Are you struggling for a job with a lot of variety?Would you like be the one making recommendation for changes in the organization?For sure you will be proud of your results at the end of the dayWhat does Manufacturing/Method Engineer look like?He/she makes Lean Thinking and Continuous Process Improvement a part of the organizational culture.Our Manufacturing Engineer's goal is to focus on the activities that customer is willing to pay ( Value ) as well as to reduce the ones that do not add value to the end customer ( Waste ).After removing the wastes from the value stream , the following action is to ensure that the flow of the remaining steps run smoothly without interruptions or delays.If you will join us in this role you will initiate new projects and follow up existing ones, reporting to the Production Manager and cooperating with all the teams to create an efficient and effective organization.What we expect from you?You have a Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, 2-3 years of relevant experience in a Lean oriented Manufacturing setting and Demonstrated skill and achievement in implementing Lean practices in a manufacturing environment.Preferably you achieved a certification in Six Sigma and you have proven track of applied methodology in your past experience.You have an eye for details and don't shy away from rolling up your sleeves and getting involved whenever necessary.We seek for a self-motivated person, able to work under the pressure.You are full of energy and can't wait to work together with Internal Logistics and Production Team and you are happy to organize and optimize the Production environment.What else?We need you to be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, experienced with Autocad and fluent in English.What will be crucial to have and develop in this role?Knowing how to improve business results, driving change and making things happen .Capability to display consistency between words and actions , act honestly and directly with people, raising flags when things go wrong to ensure appropriate action is taken.Ability to drive customer success and demonstrate a genuine interest in accurately understanding and acting on customer needs and expectations.Passion for sustainability , being an example in following policies and practices as well as honoring agreements and commitments.What you will deal with in this role?Estimate production times, Define Balancing and ideal mix Define production Line Layouts according to Lean Manufacturing Concepts Create, Update and Follow up assembly Work Instructions Train and Support operators Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company procedures Work with Engineering Team to identify and implement Process Improvements and best practices through 5S and lean principles Represent an important link between operators and R D engineers, playing a key role for new products introduction projects and acting as a Production representative in PTMs (Project Team Meetings) Optimization of flows for arrival of materials from warehous to production.The role reports to the Production Manager.What you can expect from us?You will for sure learn a lot and develop yourself furthermore, as well as be involved in strategic decisions contributing to the Operational Excellence.It will be a challenging experience where to put your ideas and energy in the optimization of the Production set-up of our PC.Where we expect you?In Italy, Castello D'Agogna (PV) Diverse by nature and inclusive by choice Bright ideas come from all of us.The more unique perspectives we embrace, the more innovative we are.Together we build a culture where difference is valued and we share a deep sense of purpose and belonging.
