White Cap is hiring immediately for a Receiving AssociateA position at White Cap isn't your ordinary job.You'll work in an exciting and diverse environment, meet interesting people, and have a variety of career opportunities.The White Cap family is committed to Building Trust on Every Job.We do this by being deeply knowledgeable, fully capable, and always dependable, and our associates are the driving force behind this commitment.Why a career with White Cap?Comprehensive wellness and financial benefits: White Cap offers medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, and moreRelax and recharge: generous time off package, paid maternity, parental leave, sick time, and vacation time.Stability: Since ****, White Cap has doubled in size and continues to grow.Unlimited career potential: stable growing company offering unlimited career potential.Love where you work: certified as a Great Place to Work.Inclusive culture: values and celebrates who you are.A Receiving Associate at White Cap...Receives, counts, and stores items.Records receiving data using a computer and company software.Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items properly and accurately.Identifies incorrect or short shipped items and notifies supervisor.Communicates with shipping vendors to resolve delivery issues.Delivers products, supplies and equipment to the correct designated area.Works closely with purchasing to track shortages for late/slow delivery.Files purchase orders correctly based on company policy.Performs other duties as assigned.HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.Specialized skills training/certification may be required.Must use required PPE at all times.Generally 0-2 years of experience.White Cap is hiring immediately for a Shipping and Receiving Associate.A Shipping and Receiving Associate at White Cap...Ensures all shipments receive the proper labeling, postal charges, and are packaged to arrive safely.Prints daily sales receipts and cross-checks the computer software to ensure accuracy.Keeps management and supervisors aware of product shortages to maintain accurate information on the company website.Assembles and fills boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped.Prepares detailed and accurate invoices to accompany shipments and ensures all items are packaged and shipped to company standards.Tracks inventory and reports any shortages to sales team.Works with other shipping clerks to see that all invoices are handled promptly and goods are shipped and stored properly.Receives, counts, and stores items.Records receiving data using computer.Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items, using identification tag, stamp, or electronic marking tool or other labeling equipment.Delivers products, supplies, and equipment to designated area.Examines and inspects stock items for wear and defects.Works closely with purchasing to track shortages for late/slow delivery.Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.Prior experience operating a forklift.Familiarity with hand and power tools.Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.Knowledge of construction and industrial products.Bilingual – Spanish a plus.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience operating a forklift.Familiarity with hand and power tools.Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.Knowledge of construction and industrial products.Bilingual – Spanish a plus.If you're looking to play a role in building America, consider one of our open opportunities.We can't wait to meet you.#J-*****-Ljbffr
