OverviewGalileo is a fast-growing renewable energy developer, investor and operator, currently in the very dynamic start-up phase.Since our foundation in ****, we have secured a pipeline of over 16 GW of solar PV, onshore wind, offshore wind and storage projects across 10 markets in Europe.We are looking for a M&A Analyst to assist in evaluating and executing new development and investment opportunities across different renewable energy technologies (solar PV, wind onshore and offshore as well as BESS).This person will be based in Milan (with the possibility of hybrid remote working) and report to the Chief Investment Officer.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the successful execution of sell-side, buy-side and partnership transactions by working on the whole spectrum from inception to closing.Work closely with other departments to gain the necessary understanding of the business model of Galileo and support them with the perspective that comes from the Strategic Planning and M&A function.Support in the management of various European development partnerships and the various activities needed (onboarding of projects, preparation of business plans, etc.).Analyse and roll-out the strategic entry in new geographical markets and the development of new business models (solar I&C, BESS, floating offshore).RequirementsWhat you'll need:Excellent academic background with a degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or Management Engineering (degrees in STEM are also suitable, if accompanied with background in economics or finance).Previous work experience within consulting, private equity, infrastructure funds, investment banking/M&A, or corporate M&A functions, with a desirable focus in the energy/renewables business.Depending on seniority, strong financial modelling experience and strong analytical and quantitative skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English.Another European language would be a plus.Enthusiasm and self-motivation, including a willingness to take on new challenges and broad responsibilities.Ability to prioritize several concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment and prove resilient in the face of challenges and disappointments.BenefitsWhy join us?Be at the forefront of Galileo's developments.Work on interesting and ambitious renewable energy projects.Enjoy an international environment, with opportunities for travel and exchange with colleagues all over Europe, and thrive in an informal culture that values collaboration and innovation.Benefit from a competitive salary, flexible remote-working policy, and a supportive, fast-paced environment.Our commitment to diversity and inclusion: Galileo is a new and flexible employer, committed to providing equal opportunities, an inclusive work environment, and fairness for all.We encourage everyone who applies to emphasize what their passion, skills and mindset can bring to our company.In return we commit to evaluating your application fairly and objectively.This is the case no matter your race, gender identity, sexuality, age, family or civil status, disability, religion, or ethnicity.This is the case no matter your race, gender identity, sexuality, age, family or civil status, disability, religion, or ethnicity.#J-*****-Ljbffr
