OverviewGroup Accounting and Consolidation Specialist IQM Selezione•BOLOGNA, ITIQM Selezione is recruiting an Group Accounting and Consolidation Specialist for a multinational company based in Bologna.Ideal ProfileQualifications1. High school diploma in Accounting and / or Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields;2. Previous experience in a similar role, gained in companies or accounting firms;3. Good level of autonomy in managing general accounting, accounting consolidation activities, and operational treasury tasks;4. Strong knowledge of Italian accounting standards (OIC) and solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), especially in a group and consolidated reporting environment;5. Solid knowledge of Italian VAT regulations and routine tax obligations;6. Practical knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems, preferably in multi-entity or multinational environments;7. Good command of MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, basic data analysis, reconciliation files);8. Precision, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team;9. Mandatory operational knowledge of English Minimum B2 level of English (written and spoken);10. Residence near the company office (Bologna).Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will join the Accounting and Administration Department and will work in coordination with a colleague, the external accountant, and international group counterparts in Spain and India, supporting group consolidation processes in addition to general accounting and operational treasury activities.General Accounting OperationsManage general accounting up to the preparation of the pre-tax financial statements;Record cash / bank journal entries and perform periodic bank reconciliations.Support for Closing and ReportingPrepare accounting and financial documentation to support the external accountant for the year-end closing;Produce basic accounting reports (e.g., trial balance), also in English if required.Operational Tax ComplianceHandle operational management of periodic VAT settlements;Prepare data for the annual VAT declaration in support of the external accountant;Manage F24 forms and withholding taxes;Treasury and PaymentsManage accounts payable and receivable schedules;Execute payments to suppliers;Operate as the main contact with banks and financial institutions for routine communications.Workplace: Bologna, Italy; occasional travel to group offices may be requiredThe selection process complies with the principle of equal opportunities (Law / 77).Aut.Min.RS Contract and salary: Permanent contract, full-time (indicative gross annual salary *******)Interested candidates are invited to send their CV (quoting the reference: Accounting Specialist BO) to , after reading the privacy notice available on our websiteGroup Accounting and Consolidation Specialist • BOLOGNA, IT#J-*****-Ljbffr
