Adecco Life Science, the specialized division of the Adecco Group, is seeking aSales & Project Engineerfor a client company operating in the pressure vessels sector.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a professional to drive sales and project coordination activities with European clients and partners in Energy and Chemical Industry, including but not limited to End Users, EPC Contractors, Technology Licensors, Project Developers etc.This role focuses on business development, customer relationship management and project coordination for company's pressure vessel manufacturing and modular EPF (engineering, procurement, fabrication) business.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales ManagementIdentify and engage new clients and project opportunities in Europe with deep understanding of company's technical characteristics and connections in the industry networkParticipate in industrial events to explore potential customers and projects, improve market awareness by presenting the company on selected exhibitions / forumsImprove customer relationships by providing professional and localized sales & project coordination service, gain access to insight information during project bidding stage to improve win rate of biddings, build and maintain strong top management connections with European customers and partnersFollow up front-end and firm project opportunities, manage proposals and clarifications with support by Asian headquarter sales teamVisit clients on a routine basis to maintain and improve network quality and depth within client's organizationSupport communication with clients for after-sales requestsProject Management & CoordinationSupport project meetings led by project manager to improve communication quality and efficiency when necessary.Strong communication skills and problem-solving thinking are required for this functionSupport project manager to negotiate with client for change orders, liquidated damages for delay / qualitySupport project / procurement manager for coordination meetings with European local suppliersRequirementsExperience: 5+ years working experience in chemical / energy industry, background in EPC contractor / process licensor / pressure vessel manufacturer is preferredCandidates shall have experience of sales or project management in previous positionsKnowledge of ASME VIII, PED *******/EU, EN *****, and other relevant standards for pressure equipmentProficiency in engineering documentation (e.g., P&ID, datasheets, drawings, specifications etc.)Mechanical or Process Engineering background is preferredItalian mothertongue, fluent English (written/spoken); additional European languages are advantageousWillingness to travel up to 50% across Europe and occasionally to global project sitesWork location:Segrate (MI)Working hours:full time from Monday to Friday with the possibility of some days of remote workingEmployment Terms:CCNL Metalmeccanico, Level and RAL will be commensurate with the candidate's actual experiencePermanent contract directly with the companyLunch tickets, which is 8 euros, for each day workedBusiness travel allowance
