Automation Software Engineer - Team LeaderFounded in ****, Danieli is a world leader in the construction of plants and machines for the steel industry.The company has over twenty-five divisions and is renowned for innovation, team spirit, excellence and reliability.We are currently expanding our team within the Danieli Breda area.Job Title:Automation Software Engineer – Team LeaderResponsibilitiesPlanning activities within the teamDesign and testing of Level 1 software for machine and process control in metal processing plants, in compliance with company standards and contractual requirements (functionality and performance)Issuing orders to external suppliers, monitoring activities and deliveries for qualityManaging interfaces with internal teamsTechnical RequirementsDegree in technical disciplines: electronic, electrical, computer engineering, or automatic control systemsSolid understanding of algorithmic techniques and fundamental data structures for solving computational problemsGood knowledge of reading and interpreting industrial engineering documentation such as: electrical diagrams, network diagrams, single-line diagrams, process flow diagrams, and P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)Preferred qualifications include:Knowledge of hardware and software design issues in industrial automation systems, especially those based on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)Experience with Siemens S7/TIA Portal and/or Rockwell Studio **** development environmentsExperience with Siemens S****** and Rockwell ControlLogix PLC architecturesKnowledge/experience in SCADA environments such as Wonderware Intouch and/or Siemens WinCCItalian and English proficiencySoft SkillsExcellent team-working attitude and ability to collaborate constructivelyTime managementStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsResults-oriented mindsetAbility to adapt to multicultural environmentsEmotional intelligence and ability to manage stressful situationsBusiness UnitDanieli Breda is recognized as a leader in the design, production, and supply of machines and integrated plants for processing ferrous and non-ferrous materials, specializing in extrusion and forging technologies.#J-*****-Ljbffr
