Octagon Professionals is one of the main service providers supporting the European Space Agency, and we are expanding our digital and application support team at ESRIN in Italy. We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer who enjoys building reliable, user friendly web applications in an international, technical environment.In this role, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of progressive web applications, working across the full development lifecycle. You will contribute to both frontend and backend components, integrate cloud services, and automate processes using the Microsoft Power Platform.ResponsibilitiesDevelop progressive web applications using Angular and Node.js.Design and implement RESTful APIs and ensure reliable system integration.Build and automate business processes using Microsoft Power Platform, with a focus on Power Apps and Power Automate (Power Pages is an asset).Develop and optimise SQL databases and queries, supporting robust data structures and performance.Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications using Azure services and modern development practices.Translate technical requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions and contribute to technical documentation.Participate in testing, documentation, and quality assurance activities to ensure consistent delivery standards.Requirements4 to 5 years of professional experience in full stack development.Strong knowledge of Angular, Node.js, Angular Material, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Proficiency in SQL and relational database design.Hands on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).Experience with API design and integration.Familiarity with Azure services, deployment, and monitoring.Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.Preferred QualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Experience developing applications in technically demanding environments such as aerospace, research, or engineering.Understanding of IT security, data protection, and software lifecycle management.Power Pages experience.Personal qualitiesStrong analytical and problem solving mindset, with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality results with minimal supervision.Clear communication and teamwork skills in an international environment.Proactive, reliable, and committed to continuous improvement.What We OfferA competitive salary package and benefits in line with local conditions.The opportunity to join a collaborative and international team supporting meaningful European space missions.Ready for this new challenge?
