OverviewTecnimont, a flagship company for integrated E&C solutions, is seeking a Civil & Structural Concrete Specialist to join our team in Catania.The successful candidate will provide integrated solutions for complex plants and contribute to reducing the carbon footprint of industrial operations.The recruitment process is managed by Key2People, a partner of Tecnimont.ResponsibilitiesGuarantee the quality of generated deliverables and their compliance with contractual and company standards, procedures and work instructions.Cooperate with the Project Leader and Concrete Specialists to coordinate activities related to the Concrete discipline, regardless of location and distribution of engineering centers.Manage and issue design calculations, reports and specifications; check drawings and documents relevant to reinforced concrete and/or precast concrete, as instructed by the Group Leader and in agreement with the Civil Project Leader.Integrate the Concrete work design based on project data from other engineering disciplines as directed by the Project Leader.Check and approve vendor's documents (e.g., subcontractor construction design documents).Provide assistance to construction departments and site personnel within the area of competence, as needed and coordinated with the Project Leader.Conduct technical training as needed and share experience with colleagues across the Tecnimont Group for new design techniques.Stay up-to-date with technical improvements in the discipline.QualificationsMinimum Bachelor's degree; Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.4 to 8 years of experience in concrete design/coordination, preferably in plant engineering companies in petrochemical, oil & gas, power, or in a technical design office.Good knowledge of European and international codes and standards.Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D for modifying documents; user-friendly in Autodesk Navisworks.Knowledge of BIM360 (collaborative environment).Fluent English (speaking and writing).Availability to travel for short and long periods (max 3 months).Plus: Knowledge of FEM Civil & Structural design software (e.g., SAP****, STAAD).Knowledge of Autodesk Revit.Experience in precast and/or prestressed concrete structures.Basic knowledge of Project Management (e.g., Progress S-curve) is a plus.International background.#J-*****-Ljbffr
