Project Engineer – Renewable Energy (Solar PV & Storage) Location: Fully Remote (Italy) to start, with optional Milan office once opened Employment Type: Full-time, permanent Are you passionate about accelerating the clean-energy transition?A leading international renewable-energy developer is expanding its presence in Italy and is looking for a Project Engineer to join its growing team.This is an exciting opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in Italy initially, with the option to transition into a new Milan office as the team scales.What You'll Do Lead the design and coordination of solar PV, hybrid PV storage, and grid-connection infrastructure.Oversee LV, MV, and HV infrastructure design (overhead lines, underground cables, switching/transformer stations, substations).Manage and review external engineering firms, ensuring alignment with technical and company standards.Support development by evaluating project design status, technical constraints, and cost impacts.Estimate project yield and maintain strong relationships with EPCs, equipment suppliers, investors, utilities, developers, and landowners.What We're Looking For Degree in Electrical, Civil, Industrial Engineering or related field.3 years' experience in a similar role within the Italian renewable-energy market.Strong understanding of Italian permitting processes and familiarity with E-Distribuzione and Terna procedures.Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Google Earth, IMEDEXA (or similar), and substation design tools.Strong project-management and cross-functional coordination skills.Fluent English; additional languages a plus.Experience with BESS projects is highly desirable.Why Join Work with an international team shaping the next wave of solar and storage projects in Italy.Influence projects from early development through to full execution.Enjoy flexible working arrangements with the freedom to work remotely from day one.Opportunity to join a growing team and step into a key technical role as the Italian office expands.If you're looking to make a real impact in Italy's renewable-energy landscape, we'd love to hear from you.Apply now and help build the future of clean energy .?
