Join to apply for the Product Development Specialist role at Bolton .Location: Cermenate, ItalyPosition: PermanentDepartment: Innovations, Development & Quality Overview We are looking for a Product Development Specialist to join our R&D team in the Food Business Unit based in Italy.The role will play a crucial part in supporting our New Categories R&D Team through new product development projects, from concept to commercialization, while ensuring Brand Quality and Food Safety standards.Responsibilities Scout and test new ingredients and technologies Develop product formulations combining technical expertise and culinary creativity Support prototype development at pilot scale Define processing and packaging solutions to optimize shelf life and food safety Coordinate industrial trials and first production runs with Quality and Operations teams Prepare and manage product and process documentation Track and report development activities and results Work closely with Marketing to meet brand and market needs Qualifications Education: Degree in Food Science and Technology Work Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role Technical Skills: Strong passion for cooking and the food industry, with a commitment to excellence.Previous experience with thermal processes (e.G. pasteurization), food safety aspects, and regulatory requirements within an international markets context are considered a plus Soft Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong teamwork skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Languages: Proficiency in Italian and English is required; knowledge of Spanish and/or French is a plus IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong focus on Excel and PowerPoint Benefits Work location: Cermenate, Italy Contract type: Permanent Working Hours: Full Time Remote Working: Standard business hours with remote working options available About Bolton Bolton is an Italian family-owned fast-moving consumer goods company with 10,500 people located across 60 offices, 17 production facilities, 10 R&D laboratories, and 14 fishing vessels worldwide.With a diverse portfolio of more than 60 quality brands, Bolton has been enriching the lives of millions of people every day for more than 75 years, making their everyday more delicious, more enjoyable, useful, and beautiful.About Bolton Food Bolton Food, a business unit of Bolton, oversees the entire food supply chain, including managing a fleet of fishing vessels and promoting sustainable fisheries (in collaboration with WWF and OXFAM).The production is conducted through a network of 10 specialized plants globally.Bolton Food offers a range of well-known brands such as Rio Mare, Saupiquet, Cuca, and Isabel, providing innovative and carefully-prepared food products enjoyed by millions of families worldwide.#J-*****-Ljbffr
