OPIT - Open Institute of Technology is an EU-accredited Higher Education Institution that wants to revolutionize the university-level teaching of computer science by providing students with up-to-date, competence-based, and entirely online degrees in this field.OPIT's academic portfolio currently includes BSc and MSc degrees in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Digital Business, all delivered in English.We seek a dynamicBusiness Developer for Capstone Projectsto cultivate and manage a robust network of industry partners.This role is responsible forleveraging strategic alliancesto innovate the educational experience while driving collaborative projects that guarantee continuous quality assurance and deliver exceptional, quantifiable value to our industry collaborators by solving their most pressing business challenges.Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary liaison between academia and industry, aligning Faculty expertise and research with high-potential, market-driven business opportunities.Employ a "knife between the teeth" approach, utilizingcold calling , networking, and personal/Faculty/Student contacts to secure new corporate partnerships.I dentify critical companypain pointsand strategically translate them into structuredCapstone Projectsand applied research (ETSI) designed to deliver quantifiable business outcomes.Create and manage high-value partnerships, ensuring the effective matching of corporate requirements with academic knowledge and student skills.Ideal Candidate: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Master's degree a plus).Required fluency in English (C1+) for technical negotiation, proposal drafting, and international stakeholder management.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience building and managing industry partnerships Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Good to have: strong understanding of higher education and the capstone project process, with a focus on STEM fields.Useful information: The position is offered on acontractual, independent basis , suitable for a self-employed professional.
